What it means to be a djane.

Most importantly, to be a Djane in a club means to serve as a role- model for other women. You are the "piece of evidence" that shows that women can handle an amplifier, the faders, the bass. You can motivate other women to become active mebers of the music scene. When you can make people dance you have proved that you are emphatic and that that you are good at observing and analysing people´s tastes. What is also an intersting element of DJ-janing is the fact, that you can introduce new music and keep the balance between female/male music.
